Up to £57,500
Registered Manager role for an Ofsted "good" rated, four bed EBD children's home in the Bolton area, currently supporting three young people, with a salary of up to £57,500 depending on experience.
The home has a trauma informed, relational model already built into how it operates, and a homely, modern environment. Leading and developing a staff team, embedding trauma informed and relational practice into everyday care
Building relationships with placing authorities, families, and external professionals including social workers, therapists, education providers and health services
Overseeing care planning, risk assessment and safeguarding practice for each young person
Managing budgets, occupancy, and home performance, reporting into senior leadership
Maintaining a home environment that young people feel proud of, with personalisation and dignity built into daily life
What they're looking for
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to work towards it
Experience managing in a children's residential setting, ideally with exposure to EBD or complex trauma presentations
A leadership style that's confident and collaborative, able to hold a team together and manage difficult conversations when needed
Strong working knowledge of Ofsted frameworks, safeguarding legislation and the regulatory landscape around residential childcare
A track record that reflects attention to staff wellbeing alongside young people's outcomes
Full UK Driving Licence
