Children’s Residential Home (EBD)
Location: Coventry, CV7 (well linked to the M6)
Salary: Up to £60,000 per year

This is an opportunity to lead a Good-rated, 4-bed EBD home that’s already stable, well-staffed and making a difference. You’ll have a full, consistent team in place, a confident Responsible Individual to lean on, and the autonomy to keep the home calm, consistent and ready for inspection every single day.
The role
Lead the day-to-day running of a settled, Good-rated EBD home.
Hold Ofsted registration and maintain continuous inspection readiness.
Recruit, coach and retain a strong team with clear supervision, CPD and accountability.
Embed trauma-informed, relational care and predictable, therapeutic routines.
Oversee safeguarding, care planning and quality assurance, keeping practice tight and consistent.
Lead matching and admissions to protect the balance and progress of the home.
Build meaningful relationships with families, schools, health professionals and local partners.
Use data, reflection and SCCIF insight to drive improvement in a steady, purposeful way.

What you’ll bring
Experience as a Registered Manager
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or nearing completion).
Confident understanding of Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and SCCIF.
Calm, grounded leadership that values reflection, learning and consistency.
Strong organisational skills, clear decision-making, and sound professional judgement.
Full UK manual driving licence and flexibility for occasional travel.
