REGISTERED MANAGER
Registered Manager
Children’s Residential Home (EBD)
Location: Hendon, North West London
Salary: Up to £70,000 per year + performance bonuses
If you’re ready to take the lead in a home that’s built on care, structure, and trust, this might be exactly the next step you’ve been waiting for.
This is a provider you can believe in. A provider with three established children’s homes already doing things properly; homes where staff are supported, training is taken seriously, and progression isn’t just talked about, it’s planned for. You’ll be joining a team that values stability, invests in its people, and understands that a happy, consistent workforce leads to better outcomes for children.
The home in Hendon will support children with emotional and behavioural needs, offering a calm, predictable space where they can rebuild trust and confidence. You’ll be the person shaping that culture; setting the tone for how care looks, feels, and evolves.
What the role involves
You’ll register and lead the home in line with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted’s Quality Standards with the freedom and support to do it properly. From building a confident, reflective staff team to making sure every young person’s care plan feels personal and achievable, your leadership will shape the home’s identity from the inside out.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders who know what good looks like and give you the time, tools, and trust to deliver it.
What you’ll bring
Experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s EBD home
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or close to completion)
A confident understanding of Ofsted frameworks, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance
Calm, consistent leadership that brings the best out of your team
A full UK driving licence
What’s on offer
Salary up to £70,000 + performance-related bonuses
Excellent training and continuous professional development
Progression opportunities into multi-home or regional roles as the organisation grows
Reflective supervision, mentoring, and genuine investment in your development
Supportive, close-knit leadership team who share your commitment to quality care
Generous annual leave, pension, and wellbeing benefits
This is a role for someone who wants to do it right; to lead with heart, shape a home with purpose, and make a genuine difference to the lives of young people who need consistency most.
