Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Care (EBD)
Location: Anlaby, Hull (HU4)
Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 (dependant on experience) + bonus on registration

A new 3-bed children’s residential home (EBD) in Anlaby, Hull is preparing to open, and they’re looking for a Registered Manager who wants to be part of that early stage. This is a chance to shape the home from day one. The team, the environment, the standard… all of it.

From the start, you’ll be involved in:

• Supporting the registration process with Ofsted

• Completing and contributing to assessments and referrals

• Building and developing a children’s residential care team

• Embedding a strong, values-led culture within the home

• Working alongside an experienced Responsible Individual

There’s a real sense of backing here,the people behind the service are building carefully, with a clear focus on long-term outcomes for young people and stability within the team. With the senior leadership team having 20+ years experience in Residential Childcare from Residential Support Worker to RM to Regional to Board Member.

The salary is between £50,000 and £60,000 depending on experience, with a bonus paid on successful registration. It reflects the work that goes into opening a home, not just running one.

About you

You’ll either be an experienced Registered Manager in children’s residential care, or a Deputy Manager ready to step into registration.

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)

• Strong understanding of EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties)

• Experience within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home

• Confidence in leading a team and setting clear expectations

• Ability to support a home through registration and set-up
