MANAGER

Registered Manager | Children’s Residential Home (EBD)
Location: Vale of Belvoir (NG32)
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 + monthly occupancy bonus + performance bonus
4-bed EBD home | Ofsted Good | Four settled young people

You’d be stepping into a four-bed service that already has strong roots with a stable team, clinical support you can lean into, and young people who’ve made real, measurable progress. What it needs now is a Registered Manager who can take that solid foundation and carry it into its next chapter.

Someone who thinks long-term. Someone who notices the small interactions that shape culture. Someone who genuinely enjoys leading a team well.

This provider runs deliberately designed homes across the Midlands. Homes that feel lived-in, safe, and predictable. Young people aren’t squeezed into a model; the model is built around them. There’s great therapeutic scaffolding, visible senior support, and a commitment to doing the job properly.

What you’ll be leading

  • Holding registration and making sure the home breathes the Regulations and Quality Standards

  • Keeping quality tight through meaningful audits, reflective learning and day-to-day consistency

  • Leading safeguarding with confidence and respectful multi-agency communication

  • Recruiting, supporting and developing a team who care about the work as much as you do

  • Overseeing care plans, risk work and Reg 44/45 actions with actual follow-through

  • Maintaining stability through thoughtful matching and routines that make sense

  • Building collaborative relationships with schools, families, health partners and local authorities

What you’ll bring

  • Registered Manager experience or a Deputy who’s genuinely ready for the step

  • Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or actively working towards)

  • Strong grounding in EBD practice, trauma and attachment-informed care

  • A confident understanding of SCCIF, the Quality Standards and safeguarding

  • Leadership that feels human, organised and clear, not performative

  • Full UK manual driving licence
