£32,436.80 to £33,164.80 per year (including sleep-ins)
Full-time, permanent | 1 on / 2 off rota (with sleep-ins at £50 each)
Overtime uplift: +£2.50 per hour after 160 hours per month

You’ll be joining a small, family-style service supporting young people aged 12 to 17 with emotional, behavioural and social communication needs. What you’ll be doing
Supporting young people with all parts of daily life, from education and appointments to hobbies, routines and family time
Building strong, therapeutic relationships that help children feel genuinely valued
Using relational, trauma-informed approaches that support growth and confidence
Taking on keywork, contributing to care plans and helping shape meaningful progress
Keeping written records clear, reflective and purposeful
Helping maintain a home that feels comfortable, respectful and child-focused
Working a predictable 1 on / 2 off rota that supports stability and teamwork
What you’ll bring
Experience supporting young people with emotional, behavioural or communication needs
Working towards, or ready to start, your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
Confident communication and a collaborative, grounded approach to teamwork
Strong written recording skills
A nurturing, reliable presence that helps young people feel safe
Full UK manual driving licence
