A home where care actually means something
If you’re someone who believes real change happens through calm, consistent relationships, you’ll feel at home here.
This is a small, well-structured 4-bed children’s home where young people are genuinely seen, heard and supported. You’ll be part of a grounded, experienced team that keeps things steady; giving children space to trust, grow and start seeing themselves differently.
It’s the kind of environment where routines make sense, leadership is visible, and everyone’s role matters.

Supporting day-to-day life: school runs, appointments, mealtimes and community activities
Building therapeutic, trauma-informed relationships that stand the test of time
Using positive behaviour support and de-escalation with confidence and care
Contributing to care plans, risk assessments and reflective records
Helping keep the home warm, tidy and genuinely child-centred
Spotting safeguarding concerns early, acting appropriately and learning as a team

At least 9 months’ experience in children’s residential care (essential)
Working towards your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or ready to start)
A calm, reliable approach with good teamwork and communication
Confidence in written recording and day-to-day documentation
A full UK manual driving licence

Why this home stands out
It’s small, stable and built around care that lasts. You’ll work alongside people who know the job inside out; leaders who support you properly, and a team that looks out for one another.
Every shift counts, every interaction matters, and you’ll see the impact of your work in real time.
If you want to be part of a team that values purpose over pressure, and gives you the structure to thrive, this could be a brilliant next step.
